Henry - 2 years old, Boy.
Henry was found as a stray along with his siblings when he was a few months old. The shelter he was sent to was poorly funded and Henry grew up in a environment that was very lacking. Unfortunately, the conditions of Henry's rough upbringing has left it's mark on him. He is generally timid, but especially nervous around men. Once Henry trusts you, he'll shower you with affection and enjoy following you around wherever you go.
Henry has a medical condition called thrombocytopenia, which requires regular veterinarian visits for monitoring. His monthly medical expenses amount to approximately $300.
As a result of his condition, Henry is content being a relaxed companion. He is a big couch potato. He doesn't enjoy going on long walks or hikes but loves snuggling up beside you on the couch.
Henry is currently staying with a foster family that has dogs and small children. He gets along with both them really well.
Despite his challenging past, Henry's affectionate nature and ability to form strong bonds with his caregivers make him a truly unique and deserving companion. If you feel you can provide the love, attention, and financial support necessary to ensure Henry's continued health and happiness, we encourage you to meet him and see if you're the perfect match. Your compassionate decision could give Henry the second chance he's been waiting for, and together, you'll create an unbreakable bond that lasts a lifetime.
