History
Baibao Rescue and Adoption Society is a non-profit, no-kill organization based in North Surrey, BC, Canada that was founded in 2020 with the goal of providing a safe and loving home for animals in need. Our founder, Becky, has been a vegetarian for the past 12 years and has always had a passion for animal rescue. From a young age, Becky knew that she wanted to dedicate her life to helping animals, and she has spent years volunteering and rescuing animals in Canada. Through her experiences, Becky has seen firsthand the suffering that animals can endure, and she is determined to do everything in her power to help them. Along with a team of dedicated animal rescuers from around the world, Becky started Baibao Rescue and Adoption Society in 2020 to continue this important work and give animals the second chance they deserve.
Mission
Our mission at Baibao is to protect the lives and well-being of animals, with a focus on advocating for animal rights. We rescue, rehabilitate, and place abandoned, abused, and stray animals, as well as survivors of the meat trade, in loving forever homes in Canada. All of our operations are run through a network of foster homes, where the animals receive the care and attention they need until they can be placed with their new families. At Baibao, we are dedicated to giving animals the second chance they deserve and finding them the loving homes they deserve.
Core Value
At Baibao, we believe that there should be no border when it comes to animal rescuing. We have been working with international animal rescuers to help ban the meat trade and puppy mills in China. We also work with local Canadian organizers to foster and rehome animals abandoned or given up by their owners. Every animal deserves the right to a well-balanced, socialized, and fulfilling life. We strive to promote sustainable living and caregiving within our communities by raising awareness, appreciation, and respect for all animals and the environment. Let's speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and help those in need. Together, we can make a difference.
