Coco, girl, 2 years old
Well what can we say about this amazing young girl! Coco is a 2-year-old female German Shepherd cross who looking for a stable, loving home.
Coco has had a rough start in life and was passed from home to home due to the owner's poor decisions, which has deeply affected her. She had no stability or safety or a home. Until recently, she was being kept in a cage in the basement of her past owners. Coco was rarely interacting with the house she was in and never got to play with other dogs or go for walks. She was surrendered to us by the owners and Coco is now in an absolute amazing foster home learning how to be the best dog sweetie that she can be! What a turn she took once we got her to a safe place! She went from scared, mistrust of all people and things to just so happy to be out and in the world!
Due to the unstable environment that she has lived we will be looking for someone experienced with dogs and completely committed One Hundred percent to continue Coco's rehabilitation and success.
Coco's current foster home has been incredibly healing and amazing for her and she has learned to be with other dogs and is learning how to interact and read social ques. She is very responsive, very intelligent and learns very quickly. She currently is living with two other dogs and is doing really well.
Coco can be reactive and will be attending training with the foster family and we are certain this is something she will overcome quite quickly now that she is learning trust and safety.
Because Coco came to us with some health issues, we will be needing to keep her with her current foster home until she is healed enough and stable to be adopted.
We will keep updates coming in from her foster family! If you are interested in adopting Coco when it is time, please fill out our application. Coco has been through a lot of neglect and we will only be letting her go to someone who truly understands her breed and energy levels and is willing to put in their time for the rest of her life.
